Sooo, removing 24 ounces of old oil is a waste of time? Guess I have to disagree on this one. I believe the money I save doing my own service more than covers the cost, and yes, clean oil makes me happy.

Its Great that it makes you happy, but your bike could care less.

I tried the rogue scavenger and could not get to fit in the oil sump properly on my 15 UC. I hope it works out for you. I have since just quit worrying about it.

Man what's with all the haters about the scavenger system??? Is it absolutely necessary? Nope! However I will agree that 100% clean oil after a change is better than 80% no matter what. JMHO and FWIW

i bought one for the street glide.
did it make any difference?
no idea. but it made the dirty oil come out.
was it worth it?. no idea.
but,....
i didnt "need" it, but i like tools, so i got one.
boys and their toys comes to mind.

Interesting idea, but useless if you use synthetic.

Unless your bike is totally stock....everyone here has bought things they didn't need.
This thread is just like every other oil thread, opinion that for whatever reason gets some worked up.
