My 2 cents............ I wouldn't run it for 5000 miles in the desert heat, but in Minnesota, I'd run it for 3K earlier in year or later in year and not lose any sleep over it. In the middle of MN summer, if I ran it for 5000 miles I'd lose a tiny bit of sleep
Go ahead and run it. Please report back every 20,000 miles or whenever you start having trouble. We need more data to accurately answer these kinds of questions every time they arise.

You know after reading all of the posts on this thread and using a little bit of that common sense that I have (or whats left of it), I have pretty much decided to use the oil I have. If it runs hot or I get engine pings (which I doubt), Ill change the oil again.
