Hi, installing a 21 inch wheel, wheel and -1 monotube from hogpro,21 inch wrap fender from the factory match, staying with stock rear for now ,any tips or advice from the guys that have done it ,thanks
i do not have any personal advice , but I was considering going with a 21 also and in my search I found it fools with the abs unless you stay with the Haey break out tire or buy an additional piece made by thunder max.
Make sure you use new seals & oil in the fork legs, have all the tools you need (IE fork oil seal tool, etc)
Take your time and make sure you don't lower the fork legs in the clamps or you'll ding your new fender (don't ask)

What Hog Pro told me when I put on my 21", if you go with a Dunlop tire on the front, you don't need the Thundermax, if you go with any other tire (like I did) then you need the Thundermax.
There is something with the ABS system that if the front and rear tires spin at more than a 10% difference, it will throw your ABS code, the brakes will still work but the ABS won't
Only advice I would add would be consider anything else you would like done while you've got the inner fairing off and lower legs apart like handlebars, chrome/powder coating those lower legs, or even replacing the front speakers if you haven't already.
I think either the specter in alum,or specter in vivid back and alum.or the vapor in alum.the bike is blackened cheyenne, but got alot chrome on already, forks chrome so I don't know what would look the best, thanks
