Here is my 2nd bike. Plus, my wife can ride it if we want to take both bikes on a trip.

Our son also rides this on his trips. 1500 Boulevard - Boss

I'm kinda surprised how many guys would go outside the MoCo. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I've had plenty of other bikes myself. Just didn't expect that I guess.

Very interesting, but I guess if someone wants an off-road or dual sport for a second bike then that makes sense. Me, I'm done with the off-road motorcycle days. I've beat myself up too much over the years with off-road bikes. My off-road machines have 4 wheels now.

I missed my 1200 Sporty so much I bought another to fill the gap. Always wanted an 03 so it fit the bill & ended up being a "XL1200S" which made it even better. Fun little scoot to tool around on and no additional electrical crap to worry about when wrench'n.

Lately I've been thinking about trying to pick up a used HSC as a second bike for my one-up riding when the wife isn't able to go with me (or when I just need some "man time").

So what would some of you other touring bike riders have if you were getting a second bike, and why (not a bike for the wife - but for you)? I know there are plenty of touring guys that already have a second bike. If so, what is it?

Just curious...
Better yet, what would you do to your first bike if you could?

I would have a S & S 107 that would do @least that HP/TQ wise, and maybe a set of really nice wheels.
I have everything else on the bike I want.

My main axe is a Road King, my second bike is a Super Glide. I'm doing all I can not to go out and get a Yamaha XT 250.

This was my fleet until I rode the CVO Road Glide. Sold them all except my wife's Deluxe to finance the purchase of the CVO. I see a 110 Blacked out Fat Boy in my future. I miss all these bikes. Different rides but loved them all.

Side cars are a world of their own . Putting one on a softail can be done. Grandchildren love it

I ride this

But would love to find a wreck and do this to it. Not sure why but I got a hell of a kick outta this thing I saw on a ride a few days ago. It started life as a 99 Heritage classic

if for no other reason then to have people say WTH? OPPS was not a classic it was a springer scuse me
