Flashbacks of the early 80s with that pic of your KZ1100. I had a Yamaha JY650 Special and YJ1100 Special. My buddy rode KZ's
As much as i hate to admit outside of the styling of my current Harley those bikes were bad *** in ride and performance. Inline 4's with Kerker headers spoke performance. I loved that shaft drive ride on the Yamaha's back then. Unfortunately for most of us money is a buying factor. If money were no objective i'd own 1 Harley and alot of other brands i.e. BMW, Triumph , Indian to start. With that being said i play on buying a 2016 RK this spring if i can get my hand to write the check which i've failed at for last 3 years. Id also like a BMW Adventure bike but well i'm not a money tree

One thing I like about older bikes.......no checks to write...........just a little bit of money to hand over

Some may know Heinlein's "Door into Summer", an early novel about a time travel adventure. Would that we could...If the door to 1950 were to appear by some magic who among us all wouldn't jump through, get settled, and rich from what we'd know, and slip on down to the sales depots of Studebaker, Harley, Packard, BSA and on - oh the fantasy is endless!

Where's that door!
