I would get another Ducati, traded in a '13 Multistrada Granturismo for this bike. Only got rid of it because I missed having tunes and cruise control. By far the fastest, best handling bike I ever had ... 150 hp stretches your arms out nicely and puts a grin on your face like you wouldn't believe. Now new for '15 & '16 they gave then c/c from the factory, VVT and ten more hp! ... wished they did that a couple years ago, jagoffs! What a fantastic machine, I'll never forget that suspension either ... softest setting was like floating on a cloud compared to the HD.

The Muti is one of the most underrated fun bikes on the road. With the abs and traction control combined with the handling also makes it one of the safest feeling bikes around. I miss mine but I am happier with having momma come along for the ride and being able to wrench on my bike. The Ducati was not friendly for that.
I wanted something totally different to ride while staying in the HD line up. Took a new 2012 Forty Eight and added some brass touches. Also put on a foot clutch and tank-like shift. It's different alright and a LOT of fun.
I would get another VRod, though only one with a 180 rear tire. I had the 240 and felt the bike always wanted to stand up in the turns.
Here's my 2004 that I owned:
The vrod in the background was my wife's award winning ride.
