What was the cost of a quart? Did you just walk into the dealer to order? I tried to get a quart of my charcoal pearl and the dealer looked at me like I was crazy for thinking Harley would sell me paint.

Since we're on the subject of paint, I've got a couple of places on my saddlebags and one nasty scratch on my rear fender that I've been reluctantly living with the last several months. Does anyone have any tips on how to go about doing touch-ups without having to take the bike to a painter?

I ordered the faring gizmo from Surkyke in Amber Whiskey of $108, Heck I couldn't even come close to painting one for that price. I would have liked to do the cow bells in AW too but I think they will look great chrome when that time comes.

FWIW...I've never seen a stock bike with Amber Whiskey painted cow bells. Has anyone else. Shucks, I'd buy them too from HD if they exist.

I have a 2014sgs in charcoal pearl. I painted some parts last winter with spray cans from color rite. The paint was close but definitely not a match and the paint is soft and seems to scratch easier the factory paint.
On the flip side I picked up a touch up kit from the dealer. It was two bottles with brushes like finger nail polish. It worked well for small chips and seems to match well.
