Do you hate your Rushmore?

No complaints here. Still running strong on my '14 Limited. Other than recalls, the only mechanical issue was the stripped splines on the shift shaft a couple years ago.
Spent 2 weeks last summer running thru Yellowstone and Glacier National parks, Idaho, Wyoming, and more........ With a passenger and luggage.
Bike ran like a champ.

I have 151 K on my 14 Ultra CVO... Twice had issues with the Hydraulic Clutch Master Cylinder Recall issue... That was a nightmare failure.both times as you without warning lose your clutch... I ride Houston Traffic and both times it happened in heavy traffic on the freeway... You have to replace the wheel bearings and neck bearings every 50K... Lifter cratered on the back Jug at 15k then the front jug at 20k... The cam chain went at 95k and scrambled the engine so I got a new one. at 115 the CAT fell off??? I was riding down the road... and the welds on both sides of it broke and it literally fell off.. I replaced the Shocks with Ohlins.. cause the stock air shocks SuCK... The Ohlins completely changed the way it handled in turns and made it Awesome... Best money I ever did spend on it... I do enjoy riding it.. I thought I liked the the ride of my 07 better til a few months ago when me & my Buddy rode each others bike for a day... I wanted my Rushmore back... I rented a M8 in Vegas last year... I like my Rushmore... with all it's problems... I do enjoy riding it... When I had the lifter problem early on the the Dealer talked me into a Fueling Cam Plate and Oil Pump... They told me it would not be a problem with the Warranty... Well.. When the Cam Chain went at 95K the Warranty was denied because of the Fueling... It broke down while I was traveling... After It got denied I went crazy on my Dealer... They had it towed back to them and ended up eating an engine and got me back in compliance... I got the ESP so I got 7 years of Warranty... I've had close to 20k worth of warranty work done... I got two years left on the Warranty... my goal is to get 3 engines out of them... Overall... I like my Rushmore... but don't leave home with out 7 years of Warranty... Oh... the rubber on the heated grips denigrates after every 2 seasons which they also warrantied...

Nothing like bringing back a 4 year old thread.
I went from a 2010 Ultra to a 2016 FLHTK and WOW absolutely loved the improvements. Then a year and 15 k miles later we traded for a 2017 Limited CVO 114. This bike is simply amazing. I turned over 16 k miles on I-81 Monday returning from DC / Rolling Thunder. The bike has been to Key West, York, PA for the factory Open house, Myrtle Beach several times, the entire length of the Blue Ridge Parkway, Skyline Drive and DC twice. Not a single issue period. It is all stock except for handle bars. The bike handles well and it extremely comfortable but the best part is the power. It is BEAST on the open road and eats up asphalt like no tomorrow.
She's a keeper and we are considering whether or not we want to invest in an ESP.
