SE pistons for cvo
#2
Hello. yes having piston problems with my 2011 CVO SE FLHTCU.
Recently purchased the bike from a reputable dealership here in Calgary, used with just over 40,000 miles however noisy from day 1 then in for attention and install of rocker lockers, new lifters and recently told front piston severely scuffed and new upcoming repair bill for $5500.00 now in my lap for a recently purchased used bike from dealer.
Replacing pistons but have heard rumblings from a number of our \oilfield Riders Group membership (500 plus) that know of or who have heard of others experiencing similar problems.
I am available to hear more and discuss at mutual4@shaw.ca

You might get more responses over on the CVO side of this forum.
I have a nice set of 110 pistons sitting in a box along with the cams and oil pump and pushrods and lifters. Stock lifters are the reason I have my box of parts.
My riding buddy has about four sets of them along with the jugs, heads, cams, etc., as he has upgraded all four of his CVO's to 117's.
