Question Ebay Chrome Switch Housings ?

I see they have chrome switch housings for 2015 to 2016 Touring for around 50 bucks on Ebay. They look good. Anyone tried these? Are they any good. Harley wants about 150 bucks for theirs. They are a lot easier to change out now, then on the older models. Thanks

They are a lot easier to switch out on the newer models - I was also looking at these as well but decided to stay with black bars - you will also need to put on chrome button covers - for the price I'd take the chance.

I also briefly researched these. If you don't realize, the "housing" is independent of the actual switch covers. Seems easy enough to replace the housing only of you don't mind keeping the black switches. If you elect to also replace the switches, be prepared to destroy the old, black switches when you try to remove them. I suppose it's no big deal because you have the new chrome switches, but I'd rather have the old switches remain intact in the event I choose to restore to stock [for whatever reason].

I have seen the switch covers and housing covers. Switch covers are like $25 and housing is $53. I have also seen a chrome clutch and brake perch for $320. I plan on getting these once my bars are delivered and I install them. But may have to wait until after xmas. So many things I wanna do at such a crummy time of year to spend money on the bike!

Yes they are a lot easier to change out. I have had the black ones off, to put on new grips. Also Kuryakyn has a handlebar dress up kit for 14's and up. I had their setup on my 2012 and worked good. Will be getting their new setup for my 2015. Part number 1739. Thanks for the replies.

Default I just saw these

This kit is way cheaper than HD and I'm wondering if this is a good deal for $299.00 for my 2014 SG?

I changed the black switch covers to chrome on an 04 Ultra and swore I would never do it again. What a beating...

Yes changing the old ones was a pain. But it's easy on the 2014 and later. Switches stay on the handlebars.
