Default 2015 Street Glide Special and Arlen Ness Stabilizer

Well a 2 beer job turned into me getting my *** handed to me trying to bolt this pos in place of the stocker stabilizer. Eye to eye measures the same but it just don't line up. I am now in snap mode, I think I've tried everything. Had a bunch of other chit to do but I'm bagged out. Part number is right for a 2014-2015. Has anyone installed this little gem successfully?

Same reason my 2015 Street Glide Special needs any after market parts, to look cool of course.

Where there's a will there's away, snapback and look at it. It's hitting something your not seeing or a motormount needs temperarly loosened

I do have one as well but don't remember any problems. I also installed it in reverse direction so that the logo is not visible. Both bolts where started loosely which I'm sure you are doing. I also did it while on the kick stand but I can't see that helping over being on a rack if you are doing it that way. Be patient; it will happen.

I don't know? It just looks like a big bind. I have the front mounts on the motor loose. I bolted the first couple threads on the right side of the bike with the stabilizer but any configuration I turn the stabilizer to its out about 1/4". $&@$ you Arlen!

I had the same problem. I put a bolt in one end and physically pushed the engine to line it up. Had the wife start the other bolt while I held the engine in place.

It will happen and take your time. If anything, loosen the bolts on the front bracket to give you a little play but don't remove them.

Got 'er, thank you for the tips. With front mounts loose, one good pull on the front cylinder seated the bolt. Can you see it? Lol
