Default Camera, mount and locations

I want an unobtrusive camera, mount and location on a flhtk. Some way I can record trip that I won't have something mounted so obvious yet is stable and clear field of view.

Mounted ours on top of my helmet. Best field of view, most stable location, and ability to scan to either side of bike.

Maybe looked a little odd, but I didn't notice it, and perhaps people were nicer to me if they thought I might be recording

i mounted a VIRB on the crash bar above the peg with a few adapters. Works fine for what I wanted, doesn't shake and easy on and off. Way less obtrusive than the Hero

I mounted my GO-PRO on my mirror of my FLHTK, allows me to turn it on/off easily, and gives enough of the fairing to give great perspective on lean angles.

I use gopro with ram mounts and have a ball mounted on the engine guard above my highway pegs and it worked fine.

Ultimately I decided that on the fairing with a ram suction cup mount was a better solution. Yes it's more obvious but easier to turn on and off as I can just reach out and hit the button. I have found that the remote control doesn't last very long and I would hit stretches where I didn't want to record and it would be dead.

Also found it easier in that position to wire a battery replacement unit to a power point.

Hog Tag Collar works great... no vibration at all.

This amy sound weird but if I watch a video that had the camera attached to the rider's helmet I'll sometime get motion sickness.

I'm not quite satisfied with my RAM mount/clamp to engine guard (more vibration than I'd like). Can you post a pic of the fairing/suction solution ?
I'm curious where you attach it such that you can easily turn on/off. Thanks.
