Default Aftermarket New Style Lower Fairings

I am going to put a set of aftermarket lower fairings on my 2015 Vivid Black RGS. I have been looking at the Matuzu kits which seem to be of a decent quality for the price. They are the "old style" lowers which have been around for years.
I recently saw these advertised on Ebay (see link) (they are not Matuzu).
They are the "new style" lowers without the radiator grills. They do have a different vent system that looks interesting and I believe the top compartment doors hinge out. I checked the parts guide and they should fit my Road Glide.
Does anybody have any experience with these?

I don't personally, but here's some feedback on that eBay seller: (Not just for the lowers, but for the seller overall.)

Here's some pics of my sidebag extensions I ordered for my 14 SGS straight thru Mutazu, very good quality and fit great. Here's their site : http://www.mutazu.com/products.php?c...283&s=prod.php

I would steer away from ANYONE with that kind of Feedback on ebay,, without a doubt, I also would message him and let him KNOW he lost a sale because of it. Maybe he'll improve?

I personally believe that if you are patient enough, you can find HD quality lowers here on the forums. I found a pair of Harley takeoffs, painted my vivid black, with magnetic snaps and quick disconnects for $250 shipped. I would much rather have these than the chinese/jap crap.

I bought something from that guy before can't remember what it was I think some peg mounts and had no issue with him. on thousands of feedback 65 negative is really not that bad.

if you look in the positive ones you see

Awesome seller!! Lowers are really nice and fast shipping.

I guess it comes down to what your expectations are of aftermarket lowers. I doubt these are much worse than the other aftermarket stuff.

I've been looking at them myself and on the fence. I would only use them 2 to 3 months a year max. I normally only put HD accessories on but lets be honest most of that stuff is not coming from the USA anymore.

just my 2 cents no need to flame

Default One thing to consider?

One note here if you have a hard to match paint job like my Big Blue Pearl. I was disappointed with having my inner fairing painted. Big Blue Pearl is hard to match because it's pearl and metal flake. Even though they got the color match ok, they messed up the metal flakes. It's the one part of your bike you are always staring at, so it really bugs me. I see no reason not to buy aftermarket lowers if you have a vivid black bike but for me, I think I will stay with HD color matched lowers and have to pay the extra cost because I know that I try to save the money and get these aftermarkets there is a great chance the paint job will not match up right.
