Don't you guys with Rushmores get recall notices if you break 100 mph?

We were in Oregon, had just come out of a roadside rest stop, I am on a 2014 FLHX my son on his 2012 FLTRU.
The drag race was on, we hit 100-MPH side by side at 110 I had him by a good 4 or 5 inches. He is 60 pounds
lighter than me, his header pipe was de-catted but all stock Bike, my Bike was all stock at the time. "Good Fun"

Touched 100 one time on the RGS just to see how it felt. Rock solid. No need to ever go that fast again.

I went 55.6 mph last week, but it was in a 45 mph zone. 10+mph OVER the speed limit.

It's no Hyabusa, don't get me wrong, but you could HONESTLY run 90-100 as long as you want.
But could you imagine how wore out you would be running those speeds on a road trip on the Busa!

100+. I know if you are in the 75+mph range fuel mileage really takes a nosedive. Not what you want for touring however fun as hell for short bursts. I will have to lean out my bike a little at cruising rpm's but make it fat for acceleration. 2014 Ltd
