So, been digging around, an I'm finding Road Glide/Street Glide "hidden" antenna secrets (IE, remove from base, run long frame, zip tie and done). Either I keep running over the top of the posts that talk about doing something like this with the Ultra, or I'm not seeing them. Can anyone point me in the direction of a post or two (with pictures would be great, but not a must) on how to hide the AM/FM antenna and CB antenna. Don't want to use the fairing mounted stuff, or the rubber stubbies, etc. Everything says that the OEM whips give best reception, so I'd just as soon hide them if it's possible.

I tucked mine in just like your talking about for a cleaner look and you will loose a bit of fm reception. I've just kept it that way because most of the time i bluetooth Pandora. Give it a shot for your area. Its a quick mod thats eassily reverted back if your not happy with the reception.

 

Is this the way you did it? And is yours an Ultra or a RG/SGS?

 

My biggest thing is the moving from the Tour Pak to anywhere...Can the wires from the tour pak be pulled, or will I need to get something else to replace things?

 

I did exactly as that youtube vid. I have a 15 Ultra with detatch tour pack and it came with a jumper that just extended the cable. Did the same with my 13 SG. You should be able to by a 3 foot jumper at and electronics store for a few bucks.
