Default Cee Bailey

I've had my 2015 RGS for a little over a month now. stepped up from an 06 Lowrider. Yesterday when I got home from work my new Cee Bailey 11" Sport windshield in Opaque black tint was sitting on the porch. I installed right away. My first thought was "Oh-Man what did I do" you can not see through this windshield at all. I calmed down, stepped back and took a look at it and it looks great on my vivid black bike. sat on the bike and had my wife come out into the garage and gauge where the top of the new windshield lined up with my face. Ended up being right at my lips so all good. Next step, fire the bike up and go for a ride. At first a little bit nerve racking because of not being able to see right in front of me but within a couple of miles I was loving it. big difference from the stock shield. I can see myself eventually trying some others out but for now, I'm happy with this. BTW, great quality from Cee Bailey

Bought a Cvo RG and installed the 14 smoked kw. Didn't make a huge difference over the 13.5 Cvo shield. But I'm sure it does over a stock regular. Looks way better. Love my mean mugged smoked kw look.

I got my Klock Werks Shield, but didn't get a chance to try it yet. The weather is pretty crappy today.

It's pretty big looking, so I'm not sold on the looks just yet. Hopefully it performs well.

I did list up my Freedom Shield on eBay, if anyone is interested, here is a link:

I love the look of the mean mug, how does it affect the light output from the headlights? I love how well these bikes light up the road, and the only reason I haven't bought one yet is my concern for a reduction in lighting.

How tall are you? I got a dark 13" Cee Bailey and really like it except I think I should have gone to either 11 or 12" instead. I have a hard time seeing the road close to me at night, especially a pain when the road is rough and want to avoid holes.

Ran the new shield about 100 miles this evening. It is way better for me than the other 2, I can actually hear my tunes, and the volume isn't maxed out, LOL.

The swoop of the shield is directing wind to my cheeks, I can deal with that, but it was very noticeable with how cold it is here. The highest part isn't quite getting the wind over my head, but it's close, it's hitting at the very top of my forehead.

I think this is a keeper except that the shield will need to be exchanged. Th top 1/8 - 1/4" looks wrinkled when in the direct sunlight. I will email Klock Werks and see about an exchange. I have met those guys at different events, they seem like stand up folks, so hopefully I don't have any issues.

UPDATE:

Klock Werks is a stand up company, with great customer service! They got right back to me and are shipping me out a replacement shield today.

How tall are you? Is yours the 13" sport or the touring?
