Finally a CVO Owner...
As many of us on the forum LOVE bikes. I've always been a big fan of the CVO's that Harley Davidson puts together. When the MOCO released the 2014 CVO Road King I thought it was pretty close to the exact bike that I would have built if I was that handy in the shop. Loved the paint and everything they did with it. Well, to make a long story short I was at my local dealer last week and came across a used 2014 CVO Road King with 483 miles on it. I was currently driving a 2015 Ultra and asked what the difference would be for a trade. I thought it was a fair price as did my wife and I picked it up on Friday and love it! This bike will be a keeper!!! It's the first time of ownership of a motorcycle I have no plans to add anything. This thing sits perfect stock. (yes, that will probably change the more I ride it) Still can't figure out why the MOCO can't get ride of that Clunk we all no about that comes out of the front end of some of these bikes. Never heard it on the Ultra but did have a little clunk on my 2009 Road King but not too bad and defiantly hear it on this one. Could be the floating rotors, could be the front shox they use on the CVO who knows? With all the chit cat about the clunk noise out of the front end it's an issue I'm not worrying about. I'm just going to enjoy the bike.
Being a photographer I had to run out and do a shoot of it. As they say, if there aren't photos, it never happened....
Ride safe,
