This is to inform you if you have a FP3 and want to upgrade to Powervision, you must install the factory tune on the FP3 and delete all tunes before upgrading to Powervision. Powervision will NOT overide the FP3.

 

i think you need the original tune for Power vision.

 

I was wrong it still wont work my dyno guy is scratching his head as am I. We keep programing the power vision and it says it's making changes but nothing happens on the dyno. WTF

In most cases yes; the Power Vision doesn’t care what tune is in the ECM. When the Power Vision is married to a bike, it saves a copy of whatever tune is in the ECM at that time. This tune will be saved in a hidden slot and called Original tune. If you restore Original tune with the Power Vision, it will write this tune back to the ECM.

 

I have a Thread on her [Gona try something with my FP3] and we had no trouble adding PV over the FP3. Now I'm going back to the FP3 and V&H is helping me out to reinstall over the PV.

 

Neither FP3 or Power Vision lock the tune in your ECM. Each product can flash over the other.
