When you folks installed your stage 1 AC from HD did you have to pull the tank to remove the Induction module bracket. Just wondering, installing mine tonight and then reflashing ECM. Thanks,
I didn't pull mine either. Just took out the two front tank side mounting bolts and lifted it slightly. Careful not to tilt too much though because the tabs on the back side of the tank can bend.
What is the induction module bracket? I installed an Arlen Ness big sucker and don't recall having to do that, it was a simple straight forward install.
You don't have to remove the gas tank just carefully unscrew 2 bolts without scratching the bottom of the gas tank.Harley likes to make things little more complicated when comes to instructions.

For our year model you leave the bracket on with the AN Big Sucker.
Use the Arlen Ness version (they make the HD ones also) and not only is there no need to remove the bracket but the instructions specifically tell you to leave it in place. Not only that but the AN kit doesn't have any funky breather hose things to mess with as they are built into the backing plate. Cheaper too.

There are no breather hoses with the SE AC either.
