Default Don't forget to to pack an allen wrench set

Shifter fell off, this weekend on a ride. And the worthless little tool set doesn't even have a wrench to fit it. Read that others have had this issue, so dont forget to inspect that also.

The worthless little tool set doesn't have an Allen that fits the air cleaner either... That's sad.

You wouldn't get much leverage from one that short. Geeze it's 5/16" across the flats. That's not little bitty.

Had my highway pegs come loose on the highway the other day. Not as bad as loosing the shifter peg of course, but still stinks when you don't have the tool you need. Especially with all the vibration on theses bad boys that shake very important parts loose. Anybody carry this set? For $33 looks like it at least would cover most things like shifter, highway pegs etc...

Get the Cruz tools H-1 kit.
I have had that for ten years
. It has come in handy on many occasions. It has pretty much what you need.

True but it's just an air cleaner bolt. It's like on there just over hand tight.

The tool does have the allen for the trans fill though thank goodness... Never know when those just come off

Seriously though, not much on that dinky tool kit.
Nothing for plugs, rear axle, a/c, shift linkage, you know, stuff you might need on the side of the road. The old kit had at least those things. Too bad.

I am with you, ran thru Sears and put together a fast little kit for my saddle bag. 2 weeks later, clutch lever, resivoir assembly damn near fell off at a light!! ( I put the damn tool kit together for the wife's sporster, not a 2015 Ultra for ***** sake!!)
