Outlaw 587 Air Cleaner

I'm not running the 587, but I had thought about the DK breather bolts before eventually deciding against them. Based on forum feedback and even from DK, there is still the possibility that you may (or may not) get a slight (but not heavy) oil mist on the right side of your bike through the breather bolts. I built my own hose kit from AutoZone parts, and the stock 103 a/c cover is big enough to hide everything, including the breather filter (I didn't run the hose to the ground). A forum search on external breather mods or breather kits will yield a wealth of info and opinions.

Digging up an old thread here, but yeah, I run the Bobber AC with the breather bolts on my '16 Limited. Yes, it mists a little bit, so yes, I need to clean it every so often. I prefer doing that to having extra hoses that look out of place to me running around my AC/engine. Your mileage may very. One thing, the AC covers that are 7 and 7/8 are TOO big. It rubs my tank. I had to bend it down a little, creating a "flat" spot on the AC cover. I'm ordering a slightly smaller, 7 inch AC that should do the trick this week from DK. Just the cover since I already have everything else I need.

I have ran the breather bolts , don't care for them. It will depend on your bike and your riding style as far as the misting goes. The bolts are cheap made and fragile I had one break on me. There is no right or wrong way to route the hose it's a vent.
I used stock breather bolts and stock hoses pulled the elbow off the tee and bought some 1/4 fuel rated vacuum hose and added a filter I have around 10 bux in the mod
