Default 2014.streetglide wheel color?

I am powdercoating my wheels when I get new tires. Gloss black or "harley black" to match theengine/trans? The machined contrast stands out like a sore thumb on my bike.

If all your other work is satin I'd try and match that.

Since the rest is already FUBR'd, I'd say have them match it or go wrinkle black. Avoid gloss, since not much else on the bike is gloss.

Gloss black powder coat has a clear mixed in which scratches easily. Bars, ok. Dashboard, ok. Wheels, NO.

My powdercoater recommended I stay away from gloss on the wheels for just that reason; I took his advice and glad I did.

I just picked up a 2015 SGS and will be sticking with satin black when I get rid of the chrome. Just my $0.02.
