Mine was available months ago My only complaint is that the painted unit was slightly smaller than factory. At highway speeds i have a slight whistle from air moving through the gaps between the trim and the fairing. With the radio on it's not very noticeable, but I plan on using some clear silicone on the back to help seal it where it won't be seen

I like it !!

That looks very nice, great improvement. It may be shadows in the picture or those are some serious gaps on the bottom of the new vent and fairing. I won't think you'd want to ride that in the rain. Silicon would probably seal it or re-look at the installation.

You guys are both correct, they are a tad smaller then the original ones. I did add some clear silicone on the back side where you can't see it.

I had the color matched inner fairing, vent, and the mid frame air deflectors installed at Thunder Beach in Panama City this past spring by Harley Painted Fairings...

I did contact him a few months back, and he told me he didn't have a good enough match on the Daytona Blue Pearl.

On some colors it makes a significant difference, others no so much.

I have said from the time I bought my 2014 Ultra in "Blackened Cayenne" that the color of the vent trim on these bikes should be be body color and not matte black plastic. So when the 2016 P&A catalog comes out and the vent is available in body color, I'm in. I ordered mine on August 29th 2015, knowing it would be six weeks minimum. Got a call from dealer on Monday, Nov 16th "your part is in". Today, I pick it up, open the box before I leave to check it. My vent, with all the correct paint code ordered and printed on numerous labels is "Satin Silver". Parts manager says this second painted part that has come through wrong. So he reordered mine and now we wait and see again. Since Deeley Canada was bought out in August, this is what we have to deal with in Canada. My Rutledge RainGear is also on back-order for who knows how long (waiting for the cargo ship to arrive from China??)

Saving grace is the vent trim will look good on my bike in spring.
Not a rant, just telling my experience so far
Jerry
