__ Color Matched 2016 Slip Stream Vent Trim __
#33
1.) You have to remove the front of the Fairing, which is pretty easy. Three screws for the Windshield and four screws that hold the Fairing on. Put an old pair of Socks over the Driving Lights and you'll avoid scratching them or the Fairing.
2.) The Vent is both clipped to the Fairing and Double Sided tape is used liberally. Look at it carefully before you remove it because the new Vent should look the same when it's installed. Release the Clips and gently pull the Vent free of the Fairing.
3.) Clean any of the Double Sided Tape from the Fairing (rub it with your thumb and it'll roll up into little scraps of ex-Doubled Sided Tape) and wipe the Fairing Opening down with Rubbing Alcohol. You want a perfectly clean and wax free surface for the Double Sided Tape on the new Vent to adhere to.
4.) Remove the protective film from the Double Sided Tape on the new Vent. Align it. Snap it in place.
5.) Replace Fairing on the bike.
6.) Enjoy your favorite adult beverage.
