Heard some people talking about the Vision X bulbs, and liking them a lot better than the stock Limited LEDs. Haven't seen one so can't say. I'm still running stock but cranked it up about two turns to lift it up on the road, and it sucks a bit cornering, but it's fine going straight.

And good lord, the terminology! daymaker projector vs daymaker reflector, cree led, H11, H9.

I had them flash the bike so my passing lights stay on with high beams but the high beams are horrible. The high beam goes out about 5 additional feet over the low.

I will eventually replace the whole front light with something.

 

I had my Limited flashed yesterday but haven't had a chance to use them at night. I'm hoping running the brights with the passing lamps will make day time drivers able to see me better than with the low beams.

 

Has anyone tried these? Video says they will fit Harley.

I think the main thing to be aware of buying the Vision X is getting it with the right plug for your model bike and black vs. chrome trim.

 

I just sold mine for $250 to get rid of it and I had offers up to $350 if the deal fell through. It had about 15 miles and maybe 20 minutes of use. I bought the reflector the same day I bought the bike. For a bonus, I left the one and only bug splatter on it.

ETA, I sold mine to a friend or I would have listed it for $375 or so.
