Powder Coat: Wrinkle, Gloss or Matte Black?
I am looking for some advice here:
I have a 2015 Street Glide Special - Charcoal Pearl that is currently stock other than slip ons and pouches behind the windshield.
Tonight I picked up used engine covers (outer primary,, cam cover, side transmission cover, and top transmission cover) and plan to have them powder coated. My question is should I powder coat them wrinkle black, gloss black or matte black?
The second part of this equation is that I also plan to powder coat the forks, turn signals, passenger back rest, crash bars etc.
My gut feeling is to powdercoat the engine parts wrinkle black and everything else gloss black.
What do you guys think?

Thanks for the advice!
So I am guessing you are for Wrinkle on the engine covers and gloss or matte on the other parts?

Now I have to figure out which parts to leave chrome and which parts to go gloss or matte on.

I'm for mixing it up. Use the contracting textures like chrome. I want to hear from people that have gone matte. I seem to end up doing a lot of riding in the rain and I'm curious how it holds up to water spots. Without being able to buff it, you run out of options pretty quickly.

But no, I haven't done anything "hot"... my mufflers and heatshields are PC'd black, but that's how I ordered them from RUSH, no issues.
