not sure which one is the loud baffle, but I love mine with the 'default' louvered baffle.
It has a nice rumble on start while it warms up, not obnoxious (to others) while at warm idle. It can certainly get loud when I get on it to pass, or rolling down the highway.
I'm sure you'll like it. Baffles are easy enough to change out if you decide to change it later.

Ugh. The "loud baffle". When I built my motor I too thought I would like the loud baffle. I had VH Long Shots without baffles on the other bike and thought it should always be louder. Then I rode with the D&D perforated baffle. It sounded like an angry snowmobile. It sounded like you were standing at the start line behind a top fuel funny car when you jumped on it. It was deafening. EVERYONE I rode with refused to ride behind me. After 300 miles I ordered the wrapped perforated baffle. Called and talked to a D&D engineer who said there is no difference in exhaust between the perforated and the wrapped perforated except the sound to the rider. I didn't want to compromise performance by putting some clogged up baffle in, so once I got the green light on the "medium" baffle not affecting it, I placed the order.
Fast forward 11,000 miles to Sturgis 2015. Had a great ride out there, never noticed the pipe (yes, the quieter one) until I saw my buddy wearing earplugs. Thought why not, see if I can still hear the music. What a beautiful silence. Still heard the music, still heard the pipe a little but it wasn't DEAFENING. Rode home with earplugs the whole way. I think my head would still be pounding had I not.
So my unrequested .02 is that you're gonna hate that loud baffle and the guys you ride with will hate it. Your neighbors will despise you. If it's attention you seek, the loud baffle is the right pipe. It turns heads for sure but I'm only 42 and I love loud pipes....the perforated D&D baffle was too much for me. Please report back after you have 500 miles of road trip on that pipe and let us know if you still like it.
And no, you aren't gonna lose a thing on the low end. It's a phenomenal pipe and would put another one on the next bike in a minute.
EDIT* if anyone wants to buy a loud perforated D&D baffle with 400 miles on it, PM me, I'll give you a great deal

Had the loud baffle on my 07. After having that set up for 40k miles I ended up going with the quite baffle on the 14. Still has the d&d sound that I loved and now I can start the bike in the driveway in the morning going to work. The 07 I would push to the street not wanting to wake up wife and kids at 5 am
