Default Screaming Eagle air cleaner kit

Has anyone here installed this kit? Are you happy with the end results? I like the looks of the stock air cleaner cover and would like to stay with it.

Thanks all for your input.

I have all ready had the Stage 1 download done, and decatted the head pipe.

My '15 Limited has that A/C

I had the dealer install that along with the V&H Power Duals with RC Components 4” Slip-Ons and Fuelpak FP3

Very happy with this combination.
But since it was installed before I picked the bike up, I don't have a "before" to compare it too.

The new bike has quite a bit more power and torque than the '11 Street Glide that I traded in.
The Street Glide was a 96" engine with same exhaust, S/C ventilator AC, and Dyno Tuned with HD Race Tuner Pro.

I'm using that, and added the K&N element. Perfectly happy...

I added an external breather...

I like the Fuel Moto version which comes with the black backing plate. Save some money too.

Do you have a part number for it?

I ran the Fuel Moto one but did not like the extra noise.
I put the stock one back on with the K&N filter but changed back to the stock filter and cannot say there is any benefit to changing from the stock air cleaner. My stage 1 bike did not run any better with aftermarket air cleaners.

I thought that i had read something like that in earlier threads. I thought it had to do with V&H flow tests saying that the Rushmore Filter would handle all the air the 103 could suck in.

Thanks for responding, I dont want to spend money if it is not going to benefit me. I did a 350 mile ride yesterday, first long run since download, and I still got 45 mpg with the cruise set at 80.

You can Google search the stock Rushmore air cleaner, on another forum somebody did a flow test to conclude the stock setup will flow more than a stage 1 will need. I could not feel any difference.
