Default Trade advice 15 Limited for 15 CVO Limited

I was having the bike worked on today and cruised around the sales floor. I know, big mistake. Anyway they offered a $12,400 otd difference. Is this a good deal?

The list difference between a FLHTKSE and your Limited (assuming color option) is $9,650. So you aren't getting a super deal. Get them to move to 10K or less and it would be like you bought the CVO new instead of your Limited. My dealer is already tagging their CVOs 3K off list and will probably sell for less or offer higher than book trade in values. If it's what you want go for it you only go around once. One issue to consider is the added weight of the CVO, an additional 44 pounds 944 CVO 896 Limited.

Going off MSRP on both bikes. Looks like a good deal if you want the CVO.

2015CVO Limited - 39,349
2015 Limited - 26,099
Difference of - 13,250

Actually, it's not a great deal. The CVO will depreciate much more. I'd pass. Put the extra money in your limited.

I personally wouldn't do it. I think those 2015 CVO's are over priced already as it is. I guess I feel that way because I don't care for their available paint schemes, I just don't like it. Seen plenty of them "sitting" on the showroom floors. I would wait and see what the 2016s paint jobs will look like first.

Write a check if the CVO will make you happier. Life is short!

Riding season will here in a couple months.

I think they need to step up with a better deal.
The 16 CVO will be available in a few weeks.

If it's what you want, do it.

Personally, I'd take that money and buy the stuff YOU like, instead of what the moco specs people will like.

They're not bad bikes, and when you start looking at what is on it, the money is there.

I prefer my OWN custom to theirs, however.
