Anyone know who is selling custom dash consoles for 2014 RK? The aluminum stock one is very soft metal and scratched easily. Want to either powercoat this one or buy a custom one.

I went with Paul Yaffee. Not sure they have one for a RK.

 

I know that this is a Street Glide dash, but you can do the same type of thing with a stock RK dash. This is a hydro dipped pattern (Diamond Plate) It is dipped, then treated like paint with clear coat over top. Holds up very well.

I cant find any thing for a King dash.

 

That hydro dipped is amazing. Is that a skin that is immersed in water somehow and then clearcoated like a sticker?

 

I just saw a youtube video on it. Now I know how they get that camo on shotguns and such. I was thinking since gloss black bike, I might just powdercoat and leave the RK emblem in the middle silver. hmmm. options.

 

I was thinking of covering it in the basketweave leather that is on the side of my seat.

Knowing it has already been scratched once, thought the leather would be more forgiving.

Anyone know of a good leather works?

 

I ended up selling it and putting CVO dash on mine. They guy that bought it, had the panel powder coated and looks great. I would go with powder coat or hydro-dip
