Fork deflectors (fangs) solved the buffeting on my 2014 Street Glide. Downside is you get more engine heat in the summer temps
I don't have a lot of riding time in today but the time I did ride was triple digits. I couldn't notice any difference. I do have the plastic deflectors under the seat though. As far as actual engine temperatures I don't have any idea though.
Stock windshield was terrible. I went with a klockwerks 8.5 tinted. I love it. Wind goes right over my head and my wife dont get any at all. Looks great and performs well. Ride all day at 80 without my glasses ever moving.
Too late now, I suppose, but I noticed your side vents were open, and angled toward you. Did you try changing the angle of them? Attachment 438372
Yes I adjusted them on the ride home to see if changing them would introduce any buffeting. To my surprise they didn't add any buffeting but did help cool me down.
