Im a little (maybe a lot) confused on exactly how the whole GPS trip planning and import works.

Ive created a trip using the HD website and setup 10 way points to force a scenic route. When I import the trip into the GPS, I have the option of importing 1 or more way points. So imported all way points.

Here is the question.....

When I select my trip, will I have to select each way point one at a time as I ride?? That would suck.

Is it possible the select the whole trip with all the way points at one time??? This would keep the GPS running for the whole trip.

 

You need only import the gpx file, not the individual waypoints... the gpx file will already include the waypoints as part of the route and will route you through each one within the same trip. At least that's how it works with Basecamp gpx files... I haven't used Ride Planner in a while, but I'm others will chime in with more details.
