I keep getting the upgrade bug but when I look at the bike I can't really find anything it needs. Well, besides a rear shock upgrade, sone driving lights, and exhaust/tuner. Don't know what I'm gonna do after those are complete. Lol
I've only rode the bike about 20 miles but found the rear suspension to be fine. The Road Glide special I test rode before the CVO had horrible rear suspension. The suspension and intense heat on the right floorboard of the RG Special are why I chose the CVO. I had Ohlins 3-3 on both my Road Kings and thought about swapping them over to this CVO but right now I think I'm leaving the air shocks in place.

Solo with 50psi in shocks they are fine. 2 up is where they just don't perform to my satisfaction. Wife gets the worst of it and frankly, I'm tired of hearing her huff and cuss at every pothole, manhole cover and expansion joint.

If those Ohlins are stock length and you are interested in selling let me know. If the price is right I might be interested.

They are in a box in the tour pack. Many dealers do not put them on until the bike sells and they can fit them for the owner. Just got a '15 CVO Limited and such was the case.

If I can inquire, how much did they come off list? Might go try to make a deal soon on one if it stays on the sales floor another few weeks. I was wondering how much most dealers come off list on CVOs. They have a pretty hefty mark up on them.

I saw a picture of one posted recently that was marked down to $36k from $40k.

Around here they don't last long enough to get discounted. My dealer did cut me a good deal.

What footpegs are you referring to ? Highway pegs ? Are they included ?

No problem. My local dealer had it marked down to 36K. He took off another 1K for me and gave me what I considered a fair price on my two trades. I have a long relationship with him. Have bought about 6 bikes from them over the years.

Didn't hurt that they had 9 CVO's of various configurations in stock and are getting nervous because in August the 2016's come out. The dealer knows they will have to discount further once the 2016's are released.

The reliability will obviously need to be proven over time, but first impressions? Gorgeous! Congrats and enjoy that awesome ride...
