Default Ultra Limited to Street Glide Conversion

I recently installed the quick detach kit to convert my 2014 FLHTK to a Street Glide look when not traveling, and am wanting a more streamlined seat. I found a good deal on a 2015 stock take off street glide seat and was wondering if I'm correct in assuming it will fit on my FLHTK without any issues. If I am thinking right, the stock street glide seat is very similar to the Badlander in relation to small passenger seat. I'm getting this seat for one third the price of a badlander so if it will fit, its a no brainer. Anyone else gone this route when running detached tour park?

It's a perfect replacement and the pass seating area is narrow. It will also sit you down about a inch and move you back 1" or more.

I actually like the SG seat better than the stock dresser seat. The stk dresser seat is a grape crusher for me. The brake pedal position is also better to me with the SG seat.

I wanted the same thing when I bought my 2014 Limited. I got lucky and found someone here on the forums wanting a stock Limited seat for his Street Glide so we made a trade and it works great. I bought a hammock seat for use with the tour pack.

I did the 2015 CVO street Glide seat on my bike. Love it.

I made a Street Glide out of my 2014 Limited before I traded it. The stock Street Glide seat works great on that combo. Got a take-off from a Friend's 2014 SG

I checked out the CVO seat but retail on the seat new is $430 and the matching Passenger seat is $380 retail. One of the discount shops may be able to do better but $800 for the CVO set vs $125 for a brand new SG take off made me go with the take off and I'm fine with it. Not bad for a stock Harley seat for a change.

Well I picked up the above referenced seat today and put it on the bike and I love it. I was amazed at how much bigger the Limited seat is next to the Street Glide seat. Haven't gotten to ride it yet, as roads are still wet from earlier rain and don't wanna get it all nasty. It seems it does sit me down lower and farther back, and not nearly as comfy as the stock Limited seat. But then again, I didn't buy it for comfort as keeping stock seat for long trips. Thanks for the info everyone. If anyone has a stock street glide seat, newer preferably, does it say LOW on the bottom of it? This one is stamped LOW on the bottom plastic pan and I'm confused as to why.
