You made a good choice IMHO. What year is your Limited?

 

I've got the same color, LOVE it.

I saw that color on the Harley site when they released the 2014's and HAD to have it.

 

Mine is a 14... They quit the colors after that. They brought back the color combo in 17, but in denim finish. I like that too, just not as well.

 

Hey there. Where did you get that license plate mount? I'm putting the quick detach on my Road Glide Ultra and I can't find a license plate bracket that mounts above the tail light - all of them go below. Other than the one that comes in the quick detach kit from HD but I don't want to buy the kit as I don't need several of the components. Thanks.

 

harley sells the plate relocation bracket alone

 

Here are a few pics of a detach setup I did for a buddy. He bought all the parts and I finished it up the other day. He is now running a Street Glide Seat.

 

I really like the look of the two bikes I've seen that have the tail light removed and the license plate in its place. I noticed one of the above bikes with this option has CD Fangs?? and the latest one above has saddle bag lights along with HD saddle bag support filler lights. Is this how your getting away with no tail light?? I have only the HD saddle bag support fillers and a tail light. Would I be able to do this modification as well with just the HD saddle bag support fillers?? That is the look I want.

Also the people here who prefer not to have the HD quick detach kit... could you elaborate... give details on you experience and method of removing the tour pack by yourself?

These two fitment options are what I'm look to do as well.
