Yea but surprising how overpriced some are. I checked today, many of the used price ones I saw actually cost more than a new one does. Buyer beware. There are bargains out there but ya gotta search

That's what I found also. I ended up ordering a brand new one from Boardtracker HD online and it was actually cheaper than some I found on Ebay and on here.

Like anything else, you have to know what the price "should" be.

Found a seat yesterday on EBay brand new takeoff. Good price. Only 28 seconds left in the auction when I found it and bought it. Don't need the electro glo turn signals in the kit, I'll order the pieces I actually need separately. I did notice my 2018 has a different tour pak rack than earlier years, it has a built in section to hold the wiring clear of the fender.

Seat doesn't matter. Just because you take off a tour pack doesn't make it look like a SG. All good looking bikes but they just don't have the look of a SG if that is what you're trying to do.

NOPE you got that all wrong. I'm NOT trying to make it look like a street glide at all. I've had several street glides and if that's what I wanted, I would have bought one and spent thousands of $$$ less. The ONLY reason I am using a street glide seat is the stock Limited seat looks too big without the tourpak IMHO and secondly the SG seat will take a back rest, and that's only important because it gives you a big hollow hole under the seat to hide all the wiring you gotta fold up. Not everyone that puts a detachable tour pak on a Street Glide is trying to make it look like a Limited either. It just works out better.

Just for an idea on seat price, I've bought and sold 14 up Street Glide seats on this site for $125.00. Some were priced shipped, some plus shipping. It would appear that's about the value.

I found a brand new take off from a '15 that was never used for $150. That worked for me since it was new. A new one from Boardtracker is $190

Has anyone found a laydown license plate bracket that is a no-drill option?
