It seems it does sit me down lower and farther back, and not nearly as comfy as the stock Limited seat. But then again, I didn't buy it for comfort as keeping stock seat for long trips. Thanks for the info everyone. If anyone has a stock street glide seat, newer preferably, does it say LOW on the bottom of it? This one is stamped LOW on the bottom plastic pan and I'm confused as to why.

Often times its not making a killing unless you are the shipper - FEDEX and UPS have both gone dimensional and for larger things like seats the post office, while cheaper........isn't a great deal cheaper so unless you've got a commerical account with deep discounts to work with, shipping is high. I just checked a seat from WA to IL yesterday - Brown........$75, USPS......about $45

Me too. The seat on the GF'S 2015 SGS says low on it also.

I really dont like my limited with the stock seat or tour pack on it . I struggle handeling it . I changet the shocks to the street glide lo adjustable and I have a street glide seat . Im thinking of even getting a front rim and tire off a stock street glide for it . I think after that it would be a true street glide ?? Any suggestions to help it

All FL seats since 2011 have LOW stamped on them. It only refers to the plastic seat pan. Older seats had approx 1/2" - 3/4" stand offs on the bottom and could not be modified very much to lower the rider position. The Low pan allows the seat to set flat on the frame and more foam material in the seat area. Had to buy a new seat for the wife's 2010 SG so I could drop and narrow it.

Question Chrome Strips

SDSPARK58- I'm looking to put a two piece Road Glide seat on my 2015 Ultra Limited. I notice you have two chrome bumper strips attached to the rear fender on your Limited. Am I going to need to purchase these as well? I plan on running with the passenger pillion on all of the time. I'm leaving my tour-pak on (not quick detachable). Please advise. .

Default CL is the way to go

100% on Craigslist. You'll find better deals than ebay unless the ebay seat is within pick up range.
This is my '16 Ultra with a Roland Sands seat that I found on CL.

Subscribed.

I am in the process of adding the quick detach to my Limited Low. Question: I don't like the look of the license plate holder in the conversion kit but would like to still keep the stock tail light, any suggestions? Do the tour pak connectors all lay under the seat when the tour pak is removed? Or are they rerouted under the frame/fender?

A new seat is certainly next, along with Ohlins, chrome, lid speakers, chrome....it never ends....

Thanks.
