I have. I just used high temp exhaust paint. You need to scuff the chrome or it will come off easily.

Prime it, then paint it.

Note the mufflers are S&S and came powder coated satin black. The paint is flat black, I did the shields only. I did not scuff the chrome because I wanted to easily be able to clean and re-paint them until I settle on the finish I want.

I've done several sets of heatshields and even several mufflers. Use a good quality high heat paint and I use the ones with ceramic added. Not a hard job at all and you can touch up any spots later on that need it.

Thinking about having mine powdercoated gloss black by the powder pro in Woodstock il? I think....
power duals I purchased from you. You can find pics onine of people who have had this done by them but can't find any gloss black power duals.
