So, which is it?
The MOCO site is offering financing at 0.99% for 60 months on all new '14 & '15 bikes (sounds pretty good, huh?) but when you get to the dealer, they say no, it's 1.99%. So, I assume that the people who come up with propaganda for the website don't actually know what rate Eaglemark Bank is charging and just publish something that sounds good.
Either that or this is just one more example of the incompetence associated with their claims on their website, because I read all of the fine print and it states several instances of bike prices and payments and they're all calculated at 0.99%, NOT 1.99%.
Or possibly it's just a simple-minded attempt at the old bait-and-switch scam.
I guess that it COULD be that the dealership I went to was in the dark as to what's going on, too. Wouldn't be the first time - or the last!
I'm guessing that one of the latter choices is the case. Nothing new here, folks, just more MOCO BS.
Totally fcukin' pathetic!

It is a tiered system.
IF your credit score is TIER 1 (800-850), it is .99%
Tier 2 (750-799) is higher
Tier 3 (700-749)
And so on.
Get your score up, and get that 0.99....
If your score is up above 800 and they told you that, find a different dealer.
They DO make money off financing.

I got to thinking that the dealership was probably FOS. I'll be going with Sun H-D in Denver, anyway, if/when I buy a bike.
The Dealership I went to today is renowned for their incompetence, lying outright to customers - myself included, the one and only time I bought something there - and shady business practices.
I wouldn't even buy a candy bar out of their vending machine now, for fear of being ripped off! I just happened to be in the area and wondered in and asked one of the floor-guys about it and he and some chick that works there both told me that the lowest rate was 1.99%. Shouldda known it was BS, considering the source.

My FICO score was 821 yesterday when I checked. I don't really think I need to do anything to try to raise it higher than that.

It is based on your credit score, so you should qualify for the .99.
When i bought mine the lowest rate was .99, however the finance guy said the best he could do was 1.99. He also said you got such a good deal that 1.99 was still good.
I said i know it is pretty good, but lets put the deal off for a day while i secure my own financing. He said OK, but that price/deal is only good until Friday. I maintained my cool and said OK, see you on Friday. He was trying to get another percent from me.
I went back on Friday, my credit union matched the advertised .99 financing.
So if you do business with a CU you like, let them review the web offer and see if they will match it.
So HD got no interest from me.

Most don't read the "fine print", but it is always listed
