Daytona Blue paint

That's good to hear, last I spoke with Paul he didn't seem that interested in doing DBP paint. I was on a business trip recently in Wisconsin and stopped by the local dealer, they told me about this place that apparently does custom work for HD. I spoke with them about painting extended bags in the stock paint scheme and they said it would not be a problem. Http://www.cpvehicles.com I'm assuming it won't be cheap either.

I got paint from colorrite. The color (correct name, etc.) was 5 shades off and the can only lasted for about 2/3 of the contents. It sputtered, ruined the paint finish, and didn't cover even 6 sq. ft. The metalflake was also not evenly distributed. First and last time I will buy from them and first and last time I will get a rattle can just so I don't have to get out my guns and set up a spray booth in my garage.
It is difficult, from my experience, to get off the shelf HD paint colors. Find a local shop that has PPG's scan match. Take the bike, have it scanned, paint a sample panel, adjust, paint another sample panel, adjust if necessary, then buy the paint. The result is entirely dependent upon the staff at the store and their ability to mix paint to match, however. Someone that is good will come closer than any sight unseen approach.
Yet another example of HD's fine service to its customers. Mine is a '14 and they don't stock that paint any more either.
There is only one color to paint a Harley... black. This might be why...

Curious as to what codes he came up with. Picked up a set of lower fairings that are needing painted Daytona Blue Pearl for my 14' Street Glide. Any help would be great. It's been a crazy search so far with multiple dead ends! Thanks

DBP paint
I'm currently trying to get this paint matched!! That looks really close! Would you mind telling me the formula you came up with or where you bought the paint?
