My painter is going to order today, I'll post pictures as well. You're correct, I bought a set of lowers and even the lower pieces didn't match each other, one of the caps was off from the main piece....you would think the whole set of pieces would be painted together. I'll be happy as long as it's close for now.

Any updates on how close of a match the paint was from VMR? My wife is needing some parts done in this color for her bike.

Not from me.... My friend was so pissed about his Daytona Blue Pearl 2014 Street Glide he traded it in for a '15 Limited in Black & Silver...
I ordered the paint from VMR on June 29th, and they hadn't shipped as of July 9th, so I canceled the order...

Just a quick update, my painter got the factory pack from PPG, they mixed it wrong so they are going to correct it and then he'll finally spray my speaker lids. 5 weeks of waiting. I don't have the codes yet, as soon as my painter is finished and tells me to come pick up my parts I'll post up, probably in a day or two....hopefully. Getting real tired of waiting on this.

The local PPG guy told the painter that this stuff has to be ordered out of PPG in Ohio. Hopefully I get the details.

Here's the cost;

1 pint of base - $80
1 pint of topcoat - $419
Clear and catalyst -$100

Those are ridiculous prices.

There is no way that the paint cost that much for a pint maybe a quart .

Scott14SG is correct. The dealer looked up the price because of a chip on my saddlebag lid. $600 plus for Daytona Blue "Factory Pack" - PINTS

In my case, a new factory painted lid was much cheaper.

Has anyone found an option for this yet? Is there still no one that can match this paint? I really wanted my inner fairing painted but it's not looking good.
