Highway pegs best location?

You can mount them where ever you would like, find a spot where you are comfortable when riding. You can always adjust them if you decide you would like them at a different location on the engine guard

Same here, I mounted mine at the highest point...do any of you ever notice, your highway pegs if mounted low, can possibly hit the pavement when cornering?
Of course, I always try to upright my pegs when getting ready to ride the twistys, but I did have a close call at one point when my pegs were low...

Ok, took the advise, mounted them, grabbed the tools, and went for a ride. Few adjustments later, I'm all set. Really like the idea of using them as an extension of the floorboards, so that's how I have it set up, while maintaining the clearance in corners. Happy camper!

Thats the way I mounted the also. I tried mounting them up high. It puts to much pressure on my tailbone.

Mine haven't left a mark, and neither have the daymaker fog light brackets, which I had to move temporarily to fit the peg bracket on between the bar and the lower.
