i searched the forum, and found a few threads, but no reviews on this seat. there were a couple of guys that had bought one and were gonna put a review up but either they never posted the review up, or i just couldn't find it.

I've been researching for a while now for a seat, and I've narrowed it down to the danny grey BigIST and the saddlemen dominator. Mustang seats don't work for me at all, Corbins are absolutely terrible for me, and i rode on a buddies Ultimate seat and it sat me up to high and to far forward.


reading some reviews on the danny Grey BigIST seat is starting to turn me away from it, seeing how people say the seat is pretty firm, similar to Corbin. and another draw back is it moves the rider back almost 2" which won't work very well for me.

on paper the Saddlemen Dominator sounds like it will fit the bill, but there is no mention of seating position on their website, and i gave them a call and the guy on the phone said it should be similar to stock seating position, but with more back support. but he didn't sound to confident on that. so I'm looking for real world experience.

well, i ordered one anyway. I will post up a detailed review with pictures, after i get the seat for initial impression, and a follow up when i get a long haul on it.

I like the way the seat looks. Looks similar to the Mustang, but maybe not quite as wide, not as much dish. Both features I like. Looks like you can order a back rest for the driver as well as a matching pillion for passengers.

So how is it???

 

Interested to read a review too...I've been looking at this seat, but haven't seen it on a street glide yet and would like to hear from someone who owns it on how the seating position is and the comfort level on a long trip.
