Default BoomBox Issue

When I plug my phone into the USB port on my 2015 RG Special, it says there is no readable media on the phone and at the top it keeps saying, reading media flashing at the top. Not sure if its a phone issue or a HD issue. Any thoughts?

Could be either one really.
What kind of phone?
Can you plug in another USB media device and see if it reads that?

Mine reads my iPhone and iPod Touch just fine via the USB cable.

Yea, the bluetooth works perfectly, but I don't like having to mess with it after a album finishes.

not to change your thread but i got to tell you now that my boy is a real adult....we are having so much fun. we have put 5-6000 miles on the scoots together this year. i put about 20k a year on and whenever he is able to join me we go. it is so cool to be able to bond with him because growing up he was a brat.

anyway....i hope you find an answer to your issue...

I just plugged my phone in and let it completely sync. I can see all my songs, but they are all listed as unknown artist and unknown album. Leads me to believe it may be a phone issue? Any ideas on how to add artist and album info to the songs?

You can use a program such as Tag Scanner http://www.xdlab.ru/en/ to correct your tag info on each song file. You'll probably need to do this on a PC, then transfer the updated files back to your phone, replacing the incorrectly tagged song files.
