Default Speaker Mute / Unmute

New Harley owner (2014 Limited) and I must be missing something very simple. On the console, the speaker symbol has a slash indicating is it muted. Per instructions, you push the MUTE button quickly to unmute the speakers. Nada... what am I missing here?

Thanks in advance.

Not 100% sure on this but I think with my tinkering this morning the mute button is for the negivation system (voice directions) and the radio is controlled with its own seperate system namely thumbs up or down... don't quote me on this...

The mute button works for any audio over the speakers. Make sure you don't have volume turned all the way down.

I stand corrected. I’m use to scribbles and directions on a scratch piece of paper, and I hate asking for directions … I’m getting there (figuring this infotainment thing out).

Are the dealerships not walking new owners through the basics of the radio/nav system ? I know this system is a handful to absorb in a short time ............
