Default Popping on initial acceleration

First things first. The only changes to my bike were adding a set of V&H Twin slash round slip-ons, a Kuryakyn Alley Cat air cleaner and the FP3.

I installed the slip-ons first and was getting popping on deceleration, but since I installed my FP3 (installed the A/C at the same time) I am getting better throttle response as well as getting rid of any popping on deceleration. I initially ran the bike on the stock map for a little while and then have run three of four auto tune sessions and applied those changes. I am now getting a pop on the initial acceleration after starting the bike, but don't get any other popping at all during a ride. It's like a single pop, but it causes the bike to hesitate for a slight moment when it does it.

Thinking about going back to the base map for my bike and seeing if that gets rid of the initial acceleration pop. Before I do that though I thought I'd pop (no pun intended) in here to see if anyone knew of any reasons why I would be getting the popping on initial acceleration? Thanks

Haven't heard of that problem before.

Did you "finish" your auto tune or just "apply changes"? If the latter try finishing it and flashing your new map. That may fix it.

No I just applied the changes and it's still in auto tune mode. Will go out and finish the session using today's ride and see if that makes a difference. Thanks

Yeah, it runs like *** when you are in autotune UNTIL you finalize....You need to apply changes each time to get it better and better.
