Boom Audio Stage 1 speakers worth it?

I did this upgrade on my '14 Limited. It will definitely improve the clarity and sound of the music. At first you'll think it is louder because it sounds better. But I still had issues with volume at the top end while on the highway or when the wind was a little loud or if a particular song on my USB stick was quiet. I kept wanting one or two more notches on the volume to make it right.
I then added the Stage I amp and had the flash done by the dealer to support it. WOW. It was exactly what I was looking to achieve - I barely have the sound a few notches above halfway and at any time I can push it up 2-3 notches and still have 4+ bars left of volume.
I tend to like things loud and my current setup has what I was looking to achieve. I did all of the install myself with the exception of the flash to support the amp properly (it still works without the flash but it distorts horribly as you turn the volume up.)
Not sure I would recommend to anyone to do just the speakers unless you only are riding in town and more volume isn't your end game.
As a side note, if you do get this work done you might encounter the bug many of us here have had once the flash for the amp support is completed - namely you have to go into the Audio menu and turn the AVC down a notch and back up to toggle it to work. You have to do this each time the bike is restarted. Without doing that the volume of things will be fine while stopped but will not be anywhere near what it should be once you start rolling. Toggling the AVC is the fix until they resolve it (hopefully with the next software update....)

I don't know when the whole stage 1 and 2 terminology started but in summer of 14 a couple months after buying bike I changed out all 4 speakers to those that are stock in 14 cvos. Maybe these are stage 1? the stock limited speakers were crap. A now universally known fact. same 25w amp. they sound good to me and have plenty loudness on highway imo. I have half helmet with sena bt pads over my ears while riding.( not bluetoothing music tho.)
