Getting rid of the cat will make the pipes cooler.

Adding Vied fuel enricher (or tuner) will make the engine run cooler as well

 

You're sitting on top of a 103 ci extreme heat producing air cooled motor. Replace what you want to replace but my grapes can't tell the difference between 300* and 250*.

In my opinion the best thing you can do is lose the lowers in the summer. Wear heavy jeans and boots at least a few inches above the ankles.
