seat

While it seemed that it would be more comfortable than the Tallboy it definitely did not move me back 1.75" as claimed. Tried Mean City and they told me that they could not modify a stock seat. I'm starting to get frustrated. Looks like I'll have to spend the big bucks and have a custom seat made for my long legged ***. Any recommendations?

But the good news is, they can move you back with a stock seat from a 2010 to 2013 model year (they fit a Rushmore). That's what I'm doing with them come May 27th. I found a take off seat for 125.00 and having them mod it.

We got to try out the mew mustang yesterday, rode about 300 miles on it and by the time we got home the wife's butt hurt so bad she couldn't hardly walk, never had that problem with the other Mustang seats that we have had, going to call them on Monday to see what they say, going on another 400 mile trip today and going to use the stock seat.

Presently have a custom made seat, it's not pretty, but I can ride 10 hrs straight without complaints. I'm 6'6" and 205lbs, had the seat moved back slightly and up 2".
Getting the knees lower and more hamstring support was the answer.
Most of todays seats are narrower in the front end to make it easy to put your foot down. Great if you are short, but this gives no hamstring support to us tall guys.

There's a guy in the classifieds section that has a CVO heated hammock for sale that he took off, but again, he wants $900 for the damn thing, and I can't even find one to just sit on to see if it makes an improvement. Not one of my local dealers has either a tallboy or a hammock in their demo programs - for their flagship bikes - their newest flagship bikes I might add.....
I just don't see why this needs to be so frustrating, expensive, or time consuming - it's just a damn seat.
I need to go for a ride.
