I agree with this. Had this happen to me a couple of times while on the horrible section of US-285 between Pecos, TX and Carlsbad, NM.

I'm not necessarily disagreeing with the brake pedal bounce synopsis, but that just seems to be a problem (maybe even a hazard) that can be adjusted for, since both are part of the electronic controls.

I was running 75 mph yesterday on a smooth piece of Interstate, I knew a small "bump" was coming up at a bridge. I tried to watch the tach for an rpm increase as the rear tire went past the bump. The cruise shut-off and I thought the tach jumped, but I wouldn't bet a $1.00 on it.
Next time I ride that way, I'm going to put my right foot under the brake pedal, to keep it from bouncing and see what happens.

Let us know what happens, I won't be able to test it until next month when I get back home.
